CEV EuroVolley 2021 | Men
This year Kraków, Gdańsk and Katowice will once tighten their ties with Volleyball, as it is in these beautiful cities that the best European teams will meet in the first weeks of September to fight for the crown of the 2021 European Men's Championship.
It is not the first time Men’s EuroVolley makes a stop in Poland. It will be the third continental championship organized in the country. In 2013, Poland co-hosted it with Denmark and in 2017 got to organize it all by itself. This time, according to the formula introduced and proven in the previous edition in 2019, the championship will take place in four host countries. This year it will all play out on the arenas in the Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland and Poland. Poland, however, who is going to lead in the number of matches played, with all stages of the tournament taking place in that country. Pool matches, four 1/8 final matches, two quarter-final bouts, semi-finals and the grand finale of EuroVolley – all this will make up for a total of 25 bouts in white-red Polish halls. If there is anything certain, then it is that there will be no shortage of Volleyball thrills in Poland this year!
The cities to host the tournament are well known to Volleyball aficionados from Poland and from abroad: Kraków, Gdańsk and Katowice:

Gdańsk is a city with an long and rich history of over 1000 years. Some of the most important events in more recent history of the country took place here, including the outbreak of World War II and the birth of Solidarity movement. The work put by Gdańsk’s citizens into rebuilding the capital of Pomerania has brought an incredible effect, thanks to which we can today marvel at one of the most beautiful cities in Europe and be happy to come back to visit it time and again. Katowice, the capital of a voivodship and a city with almost 5 million inhabitants is developing dynamically, as evidenced by the economic success driven by the skillful combination of the richness of heritage and modernity. The central city of Silesia is especially close to any Volleyball fan’s heart. The history of the sport is epitomized by the Spodek hall, which brings back the most beautiful moments of Polish Volleyball, including, above all, the triumph of over the mighty Brazil on September 21, 2014.
