Tickets for EuroVolley Women opening match now on sale!

As of today, Volleyball fans can purchase tickets for the much-anticipated opening match of this year’s CEV EuroVolley Women. The matchup featuring co-hosts, reigning European champions Italy and their rivals from Romania will be taking place at the iconic Arena di Verona on August 15, starting at 8 pm local time.

The opening match of the continental championship will benefit from a truly special and unprecedented environment and even before the competition is due to start, it has already gone down in history. It coincides with the return of international, elite Volleyball to such a fantastic location as the Arena di Verona, a Roman amphitheatre built in 30 AD, for the first time in almost 35 years – since the legendary men’s national teams of USA and the Soviet Union played against each other at the very same venue on May 23, 1988. Only a few months later, the same two teams contested the gold medal match of the 1988 Seoul Olympics.
