After 18 years of absence, the Greek women’s national team returns to the final phase of the European Championship. It is the 5^th time in total that Greece take part in #EuroVolleyW, after its 12^th place in Arnhem in 1985, the 8^th place in Rome in 1991, the 9^th place in 1993 in Brno and the 12^th place achieved in 2001 in Varna.

The team’s coach is the Spanish expert Guillermo Naranjo Hernández, who has steered Greece to the silver medal in the Mediterranean Games in Tarragona, to six straight wins in the #EuroVolleyW qualifiers and to the 3^rd place in the 2019 edition of the European Silver League.
