    Okosin was born in Ukraine (1989) and, at the age of 7, immigrated to Israel with his mother. 
    As a child, he always played with a ball, in the morning at school, in the afternoon with friends, and in the evening at home.
    He mainly played basketball, tennis, soccer and other games with a ball.
    At 13, he was exposed to Volleyball; it was love at first sight, and he suddenly knew this was what he wanted to do in his life.
    When he was 15 years old (2005), Okosin moved to live, study and train at the Volleyball Academy in Wingate, where he learned the basics of the professional Volleyball game.
    During this period, he was chosen to be part of the squad of the young Israel team, and after a short time, he entered to play in the starting lineup.
    At 18, Okosin received his first professional contract and began his journey in the first league in Israel in the Hapoel Mata Asher team.
    In 2009, the young player got the opportunity to join the senior Israeli national team, and since then, he has been an active participant in the squad and competitions.
    At 25, Okosin moved to Japan to play in the NAGANO team from the second division, his first time playing outside of Israel.
    He played in Japan for one year, and it was a fantastic year where the Ukraine-born player learned a lot about himself, Volleyball and discipline and hard training.
    He returned to Israel with his wife in 2017 to start a family and to play in my previous team based in Asher Acre, where he still plays today.
