Plovdiv welcomes the golden EuroVolley 2021 Women winners’ trophy
The golden EuroVolley 2021 Women winners’ trophy was welcomed in Plovdiv. The oldest still inhabited town in Europe is one of the hosts of the tournament alongside Belgrade (Serbia), Zadar (Croatia) and Cluj-Napoca (Romania).
For the next few days the trophy will on display at some of the most well-known locations in Plovdiv where citizens and guests will have the opportunity to take pictures with it. The trophy tour will end at the Kolodruma Hall where starting on August 18 EuroVolley 2021 Women will be played.
The golden trophy, including the wooden base, measures 74 cm and weighs 9.6 kilos. It is a handmade product gold-plated in a galvanic bath of 24 karats gold. The trophy is manufactured by Italian-based company GDE Bertoni responsible for the trophies awarded to the winners of FIFA World Cup, UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League.
