We are just a day away from the Drawing of Lots for the CEV EuroVolley 2023, scheduled to take place on 16th November at the iconic Palazzo Reale in Naples, Italy, with the help of the Italian Volleyball Federation and streamed live globally through the CEV Official Facebook Page and YouTube account starting at 5 PM CET.

No less than 24 countries per each gender will be looking to see who they will be facing come next summer in their quest for European glory, and behind them entire nations. These countries have occupied their spots either by being one of the host countries, through the position occupied in the rankings after EuroVolley 2021 or by going through the Qualifiers.

The aforementioned host countries will be placed at the top of each of the four pools. Joining them will be a country of their choice, a right given to all host countries, which will be disclosed during the drawing of lots process.

Following this initial attribution, the remaining 16 countries will be drawn out of the pots until the final spot will be taken in completing the final structure of six teams in each of the four pools.

The same procedure applies to both the Women’s and Men’s Drawing of Lots, here is an explanatory video that you should watch before joining the live stream tomorrow.
