Winning start for Poland and the Netherlands in Skopje

Expectedly the big favorites to win the top two spots in the CEV EuroVolley 2023 Group C table, Poland and the Netherlands came away with convincing victories against the Czech Republic and Montenegro. This was a great warm-up before their match in the 2nd round in Skopje.
Poland played a fantastic game in Boris Trajkovski after showing his strength and length on the bench against the Czech Republic in the first round of Group C.
The 3:0 victory (25:17, 25:20, 25:20) with a big rotation and without the most powerful weapon at their disposal.
Kamil Semenyuk and Lukasz Kaczmarek each scored 14 points for Poland, and for the Czech Republic Lukas Vasina was excellent with 14 points.
In the next round at CEV EuroVolley 2023, Poland expects the big derby against the Netherlands, and the Czech Republic will play Montenegro.
The Netherlands successfully started their mission to qualify for the round of 16, after they defeated the Montenegro 3:0 (25:19, 25:18, 22:25) in the first round in Group C in Skopje, thus justifying their role as favorites.
Nimir Abdel with 12 points was the best for the winner, Vojin Čacic stood out for the Montenegro with 10 points.
in the next round at CEV EuroVolley 2023, the Netherlands will play Poland in the big derby, while Montenegro will face Macedonia.
