On Thursday, four exciting games will conclude the pool play of the EuroVolley 2023 - Women, as the action is still on in Düsseldorf and Ghent. The game between unbeaten Türkiye and Germany will be one of the highlights of the last day of the pool stage.

The conclusion of Pool C promises two thrilling battles. The sold-out game between the hosts Germany and Türkiye promises to be an electrifying show in Castello Dusseldorf that will be overrun by the Turkish and German fans who will vividly support their respective teams. So far, star-studded Türkiye have dropped only one set on their way to the 1/8 finals and already secured the first spot in Pool C.

Having Melissa Vargas, Ebrar Karakurt, Eda Erdem & co. on the court, the Sultans of the Net seem to be unstoppable. However, the Germans will definitely try their best in their last home game. Especially that they want to banish memories of their two defeats against Sweden and Czechia. The team around coach Vital Heynen lost their spiker Hanna Orthmann in the opening game, but keeps fighting despite all obstacles and will spare no effort to deliver some spectacular plays to their home crowd.

Also, the first match of the day in Dusseldorf will be an interesting duel. Sweden and Czechia will lock horns, and although Sweden  - along with Germany and Türkiye - have already secured a spot in the eighthfinals, they are fighting for 2nd place in Pool C, but for Czechia the result of the game will be decisive for their fate as they indirectly fight for a sport with Azerbaijan.
