Alexandre Ferreira"We are very happy, because it's the first time when Portugal progresses to the next round. We knew that this is the game during which we have to give everything if we want to go to the next phase, so we are really happy about it. We also showed that we can play under the pressure with the team on our level, so I'm really proud of my team."
Captain of Portugal
Menelaos Kokkinakis"We started well, in the first set details were decisive, but kept going we fought hard and won the second one. Portugal is a very good team and they had a solid reception what was their key, because then they played well in side-out and attack. Thus, they won - congratulations to them. We go home and we have to analyse it to be better in the next competition."
