Bosnia and Herzegovina won their second straight set match, after competing against tournament hosts - Latvia. The result keep the team in second position in Pool F’s table with 6 points at the first Tournament of #EuroVolleyW Qualifier.

• Anđelka RADIŠKOVIĆ (BIH) was the leading scorer in the match, gaining 17 points for her team. Dajana BOSKOVIC (BIH) contributed 15 points for the winning side

• Both teams performed well in block, Bosnia and Herzegovina scored 9 points while Latvia gained 8 points in this element

• Attack was a key to Bosnia and Herzegovina’s victory as the team won 41 points through winning spikes - almost twice as much as Latvia, who only won 21 points in this element

Stevan LJUBICIC, coach of Bosnia and Herzegovina: “This is important victory for us, this was a “must win” game. We tried tactical changes that did not give the best result, but I hope in the next game it will be much better”.

Pavels SELIVANOVS, coach of Latvia: “I am not happy about the result, the first set was the worst, but a lot of players from Bosnia and Herzegovina are very experienced and we just can’t compare them with Latvian players. We have had a short time to work with Latvian National Woman’s team, I think we have a lot of potential.”
