It is a special enocоunter between the head coaches of both teams, Greece’s Guillermo Naranjo and Czechia’s Ioannis Athanasopoulos. Both are close friends outside of the court, but on Monday, will seek for their team’s victories.
Greece are yet to record a victory, after losing to Bulgaria, Poland and Spain. Against the Spaniards, they fought hard, losing 2-3, and leading 8-3 in the tiebreak.
Czechia, on the other hand, had beaten precisely the team of Spain, taking a sweet revenge for the 2-3 loss in the Bronze medal match in the Final Four of the Golden #EuroLeagueW. Then, the players of Athanasopoulos recorded two losses - to Germany and Poland, respectively.

Kolodruma is the biggest multifunctional complex in Plovdiv, famous with modern architecture and impressive atmosphere. Olga started volleyball at the age of 7 and in 2014 she went to the USA combining studies and volleyball (UCLA Bruins and Miami Hurricanes). After finishing college she moved back to Europe, initially in France (she won the League with Beziers) and then in Poland (Enea PTPS Pila, Legionovia Legionowo and last season she celebrated the title as a player of Chemik Police).
