Overview
The seventh day of Pool D starts in explosive fashion due to the highly anticipated group blockbuster that sees team Netherlands face team Turkey. The two teams are top of the group hosted by the BT Arena and this match has high stakes for both teams, as it will determine who wins the group. So far, Turkey’s offensive play has been devastating, but today they will face one of the best receivers in the tournament so far, in the person of Myrthe Schoot. The clash over the net will be fierce, as both teams have high block percentages so far. It remains to be seen who will emerge victorious: the dutch lionesses or the Sultans of the net?

Venue Information
Opened in 2014, the BTarena is a multi-purpose indoor arena. Is one of the biggest and most modern of its kind in southeastern Europe. It can house more than 7,000 guests for sporting events and around 10.000 for a concert. The arena opened on 21 October 2014. The arena hosted a concert, on 31 October 2014, by English musician James Blunt, who sang from his album Moon Landing. The concert had an attendance of upwards of 6.000. Since then, Julio Iglesias, Eros Ramazzotti, Lara Fabian and Modern Talking have held concerts in BTarena. In 2017, the European Gymnastics Championship took place inside. The arena's seating capacity for basketball games was expanded to 10.000 seats for the FIBA EuroBasket 2017. In recent years, many Fed Cup tennis matches have been played at the BT Arena. In June '17 Nika Daalderop made her debut in the national team in the match against Argentina at the Montreux Volley Masters. In 2017 the wing spiker was part of the squad that conquered silver at the European Championship in Azerbaijan.She won gold 2 times at the U20 European Beach Volleyball Championship (2015 and 2016). In the 21-22 season she will play for the Italian Novara.
