CEV EuroVolley 2021 | Men
EuroVolley 2021 is undoubtedly the next big thing that Volleyball fans can already start looking forward to, with the continental event due to continue the unprecedented success story started last year when the flagship competition for national teams took place across as many as eight countries for the very first time in history. The countdown to EuroVolley 2021 started earlier this afternoon, with the CEV releasing two epic trailers – one per gender – showing iconic landmarks of the respective four host countries and reaching its climax with the ‘revelation’ of the official competition logos.
Last year’s EuroVolley coincided with the beginning of a new era for European Volleyball, with half a million people following the competition in the arenas and enjoying the ‘ultimate Volleyball party’ featuring the best European national teams in a truly mesmerising experience for players and fans alike.
The trailers let us feel the sort of ambiance awaiting fans travelling to the host countries of EuroVolley 2021 Men – Poland, Czech Republic, Estonia and Finland. All of these nations have a truly large, knowledgeable, passionate and raucous Volleyball fan base – and you can be sure that EuroVolley will be a spine tingling experience if you are to travel to any of the four hosts!
The same applies to the countries due to play host to the women’s tournament – Serbia, Bulgaria, Croatia, and Romania, four Volleyball nations with an incredibly long and successful history in the sport, where the organisers and local supporters will make sure EuroVolley 2021 Women is another major hit!
To continue with a tradition that started with EuroVolley 2019, the official competition logos display the national colours of the respective four host countries, while reflecting the CEV’s commitment to deliver a young, innovative and dynamic image of the sport, with fans and their experience at the very core of the event delivery.
To celebrate the logo unveiling and engage with the fans, the CEV organised a Facebook live session featuring some Volleyball superstars – such as Tijana Boskovic, Eda Erdem, Cansu Özbay, Anne Buijs, Klemen Cebulj, Jan Kozamernik, Sam Deroo, and Barthélémy Chinenyeze – sharing their previous EuroVolley experiences as well as their expectations ahead of the huge Volleyball party coming up in 2021.
The CEV will confirm the respective competition dates and host cities in due course.
