Sarah Luisa Fahr"It was a crazy game, we had to chase Russia in every set so all of us had to step up as a team and play the highest level. We came back to Łódź from Bratislava fully focused, we knew we will need to take risks. In order to play our best volleyball we had to stick together in defense, trust each other in ofense and don't loose the concentration. We are going to Ankara!"

Italian Coach Davide MAZZANTI celebrates after the final point
Irina Koroleva"Quarter final game is a completely different story than 1/8 or any Pool stage match. We wanted to please our Russian fans in the arena and the ones rooting for us back in Russia, the pressure was big and so were the Italian attacks. They were gaining speed and due to our mistakes we made them feel comfortable. We lacked their block game, good service and consistency in attack."
