Azerbaijan disappointed the hosts of the #EuroVolleyM Qualifier tournament in Tbilisi, as on Saturday they emerged victorious at 3-0 vs. Georgia. In the match that lasted 75 minutes, the players around head coach Farid Jalalov recorded first victory after having lost on Friday to Montenegro 1-3. Georgia put up some real fight on the net and performed equally on the block (both teams finished with 7 successful but actions on this element), but better on attack, Azerbaijan grabbed the 3 points.

• Azerbajan stood better in the beginning of the match, performing good on the attack (6 winning spikes) and on block. 
• Georgia were determined to show a better performance in the next set. They were able to do so in the beginning, as the players coached by Sulkhani Akhvlediani were spiking hard. However, Azerbaijan also showed great motivation and with successful spikes, tied the point score, coming back to the set to eventually emerge victorious out of it. 
• Azerbaijan stormed out in the last set, and with three aces and two kill blocks, sealed the victory.
• Once again, Andrei Vasilenko of Azerbaijan was shining for his team, becoming top scorer of the match with 17 points.
