Germany hits 58% as a team to beat The Netherlands at home

Article 21 September 2019

Team Germany, the runner-up of EuroVolley 2017, is qualified for the quarterfinal of EuroVolley 2019. In the city of Apeldoorn the team of coach Andrea Giani, the former legendary middle from Italy, beat host team The Netherlands 3-1.

In the decisive fourth set, the experienced German powerhouses György Grozer (20 points) and Christian Fromm (18 points) made the difference. Also, Dutch MVP Nimir Abdel-Aziz (29 points) could not prevent a 3-1 loss for his team.
